The Drug, Alcohol and Traffic Awareness (DATA) course is required for new drivers 18 and older. Also known as the Traffic Law and Substance Abuse Education (TLSAE) course, the four-hour online program explains how drugs, alcohol and other substances affect a person's ability to drive.
