Sept 10, 2005 - Wash and Dry your Car the Easy Way
We don't like washing our cars but we like them to look washed. The easy way to keep your car clean is to take it to the local brushless car wash. But at $15 a pop the car wash can get expensive if you are on a budget. Keep in mind that you should wash your car weekly. Leaving dead bugs, dirt, tree sap, and other debris on your car for weeks at a time will damage the finish.
Our policy is only to recommend products that we try ourselves - makes sense doesn't it? Recently we purchased a Mr. Clean AutoDry.
The AutoDry is a car washing kit that makes car washing easy and eliminates the need to dry your car. You just spray down the car when you are down washing and it dries with no spots.
No Drying, No Spots
The Mr. Clean AutoDry kit
is a handheld sprayer that attaches to your hose. Start by rinsing down the car then switch over to soap by turning a dial. Once your car is all soaped up use the provided washing mitt to wash the car. Next, rinse off the soap then switch over to the special final rinse mode. Your car is rinsed with de-ionized water which eliminates the stuff that causes spots. Now just sit back and admire your clean, spot free car.
If you can wash your car in the shade you'll have much better results. In the absence of a shady spot, wash your car early in the morning or after the sun goes down. The Mr. Clean AutoDry doesn't strip away your wax or harm your paint in anyway. You can find the Mr. Clean AutoDry at most auto parts stores or online.
