Alaska Defensive Driving Course Information

If you receive a traffic ticket in Alaska you can take a Defensive Driving Course for point reduction. Alaska has a points system that will assign you from 2 points up to 10 points depending on your infraction. If you acquire too many points your drivers license can be suspended.

For this reason it is recommended that you take a defensive driving course if possible and keep the points off your license. For point reduction no permission is required. To dismiss a traffic ticket you will need to be court referred. To register for our recommended Alaska Defensive Driving course you will need your drivers license number.
